Winter Photography

The snow here is...everywhere, in heaps and heaps taller than the kids and taller than I.  It is three winters worth in one.  We haven't really been out to speak of because the temps have been so cold... until today.  Such a fun day in the snow!  Even for the one (or two) who usually rant and growl through the hardest months of cold and darkness.  One of those is me.  If you're wondering how I've gotten through it, Google Omi - Cheerleader remix, listen to it, dance around wherever you are, close your eyes and you will believe you are at a dance party in Jamaica with your feet in the sand. But.. today it was actually warm and bright!  I had to put my sunglasses on, which reminds me of last year when I walked around for about a day, I think, with only one lens in my sunglasses... by mistake.  I swear it's not as obvious as you would imagine.  Whenever I put sunglasses on now.. if I don't get a really good look at them before I stick them on my face, which is always, I attempt to poke both of my eyes out just to be sure I got two lenses.  It is just a thing you do if you don't have enough time to look at your sunglasses before you put them on your face.

I hope your day was sunshine-y day, wherever you are!
